Inspire Bookkeeping Trainer Awarded “Fellow” Status by Professional Association

Today we are privileged to announce our bookkeeping trainer, Rob Boon, has been officially recognised as a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB). The award of “Fellow” status is to recognise Rob’s amazing contributions to:

  • • Bookkeeping Education
  • • The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers Network Meetings
  • • The Promotion of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers

Those of you lucky enough to study bookkeeping and accounting with Rob will already know how dedicated he is to his students. In his training position, Rob routinely goes above and beyond the requirements of the job to help students any time they need it – even on his own time.

Rob has an extensive knowledge and experience of bookkeeping, accounting and the financial services industry in Australia.  He has been instrumental in the development, delivery and assessment of Inspire Education’s Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Certificate IV in Accounting and Diploma of Accounting courses for many years.

About the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers

The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers is the world’s largest bookkeeping organisation. From their website:

[The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers] promotes and maintains the standards of bookkeeping as a profession, through the establishment of a series of qualifications that are relevant to the needs of business and it awards levels of membership that reward academic attainment, working experience and competence.

The ICB aims to bring certainty to the bookkeeping profession and all involved and affected by it. It answers the questions: What does a bookkeeper do? How skilled is this bookkeeper? How do I prove my bookkeeping skills? How do I improve my bookkeeping skills? How do I do bookkeeping better? What are the benefits of being part of a professional organisation for bookkeepers?

Inspire’s bookkeeping and accounting students receive a free student membership to the ICB as part of their course.

      Hi Farooq,

We have a range of bookkeeping and accounting courses available for you! Our most popular is the Certificate IV in Bookkeeping which is a great way to get started in the industry. Long term, you can use this qualification to help you get your BAS Agent registration – we even include TPB approved units on BAS/GST & Payroll. If you’re looking for a bigger challenge, we have the Diploma of Accounting course. This will train you in skills you need to move into more senior positions and you can use it towards your Tax Agent registration when the time comes!

It was a pleasure to recognise Rob for his contribution to the bookkeeping industry. Rob has the ability to bring the subject of bookkeeping alive because to his extensive experience and knowledge of the material.

  • TC says:

Its is such a pity that the double Certificate IV Bookkeeping and Accounting has no payment plan would have loved to have learnt from Rob.
