What You Need to Know About These Early Childhood Scholarships
As reported in the Early Childhood Australia VOICE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN journal article, there are two scholarships open to Early Childhood educators which will assist them to further their careers in this blossoming and evolving industry.

Early Childhood Australia (ECA) is the peak national, non-profit, non-government organization for the children’s services sector. ECA acts in the interests of young children aged from birth to eight years, is a knowledge broker linking quality assured early childhood knowledge and information to those who need it, and is a leading early childhood publisher. ECA advocates to ensure quality, social justice and equity in all issues relating to the education and care of children from birth to eight years.
EARLY CHILDHOOD LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIP ($8000)
The purpose of the scholarship is to support the recipient to study exemplary early childhood services or programmes overseas or within Australia and/or attend an early childhood conference or event either overseas or within Australia.
The scholarship is available to any person who is a member of ECA, possesses an Early Childhood Degree and is currently working with young children in Australia in an early childhood service.
EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDENT ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD ($3000)
The purpose of the award is to support the recipient in order to provide support and encouragement to younger members of the profession undertaking early childhood qualifications and to promote early childhood leadership and the profession by supporting professional conversation and engagement with early childhood students.
The award is available to any person who is a member of ECA and is undertaking tertiary studies in Australia towards an early childhood degree.
