Upcoming industry changes will see the TAELLN411 – Address Adult Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Skills unit included in the new (yet to be released) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This means that all trainers will eventually be required to hold the TAELLN411 unit or equivalent. Right now, you can add on the TAELLN411 to your Certificate IV TAE for an additional fee and be ready for the upcoming changes.

The NEW TAE40110 Cert IV in Training and Assessment comprises 10 course units, including 7 core units plus 3 elective units. Because you already have teaching experience, you may be able to automatically gain up to 3 units toward the Cert IV TAE. Additionally, if you have had any additional experience in the training industry you may be eligible to gain recognition of prior learning for more TAE40110 course units.

Note: Students must be able to demonstrate sufficient evidence of currency in teaching (within the last 12 months) in order to gain the full 3 units of RPL for your teaching qualification and experience. Where sufficient evidence of currency cannot be demonstrated, additional gap training may be required.
