This workplace health and safety course is now the minimum requirement for OHS safety officer duties and management in many workplaces and is designed to enable participants to contribute to an organisation’s OH&S Management Systems.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites required to undertake our Brisbane Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety course, however it does require that you have sound language and literacy skills, and basic computer skills. You will also need to be able access to a workplace to complete the workplace-based assessments (can be a present workplace or a friend/colleagues and alternative arrangements for those in between work without access to a workplace). To support your studies you will be provided with qualified trainers, all learning materials, flexible delivery options, and telephone and email support.
