This Cert III Childcare course will provide you first-class training and student support while you undertake your training in the Certificate III in Children’s Services (CHC30708). The Cert III in Children’s Services (Childcare) is comprised of 11 core units, and 4 electives. It is Australia’s nationally recognised and accredited qualification in child care, and is designed for those interested in becoming a nanny, assistant in a child care centre, playgroup supervisor, family day care worker, or mobile child care
assistant.
During the course of your childcare training, you will gain up to 240 hours workplace-based experience to solidify your practical experience and skills in working with children. This course has been specifically designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to work safely and effectively with young children, providing an opportunity for those with a passion for our youth to take a leading role in the childcare.
There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification, however sound understanding of the English
language is preferred.
RPL is offered to any Learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within this Cert III Childcare course. During the enrolment process a potential Learner may complete a checklist and discuss any prior evidence before commencing training to determine if they are eligible for RPL.
The most effective and popular method of delivery is via distance-learning in the form of self-paced learning. You will have 12 months to complete the course from your enrolment date through distance learning. There is a continual intake of students on this basis.
