The Cert IV in Frontline Management is designed to teach you many of the skills of effective planning and leadership and if an important step for new supervisors and managers to develop their leadership skills. You will learn how to manage your own performance, as well as the performance of other staff and team members.
Additionally, you will develop a range of competencies that are required by to be an effective Frontline Manager including operational planning, developing team effectiveness and showing leadership in the workplace.

Course units
The BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management comprises 10 units packaged as 4 core units plus 6 elective units. This course covers skills in managing your own performance as well as other staff in achieving objectives. A Frontline Manager will coordinate and influence teams to achieve management objectives.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification, however it does require a relatively high level of reading and literacy (Year 10 a minimum) in order to research, analyse and interpret the units. In addition report writing requires a good knowledge of English.
