Course units

The BSB41007 Certificate IV in Human Resources is comprised of 4 core units, and 6 electives. It is Australia’s nationally recognised and accredited qualification in human resources. It is designed for those interested in the administration of human resources, occupational health and safety, training and workplace behaviour, and recruitment selection.

The Cert IV in HR course has been specifically designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to work successfully in a human resource capacity, or for those required to use HR functions, such as frontline managers, human resource trainers, recruiters, and many other roles across a broad range of industries.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification, however a relatively high level of literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to Year 12), mature age, or at least two years relevant business experience in a supervisory role is preferred.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is offered to any Learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within the qualification. During the enrolment process a potential Learner may complete a checklist and discuss any prior evidence before commencing training to determine if they are eligible for RPL.

Delivery & Training Schedule

The Certificate IV in Human Resources BSB41007 is delivered by Prime Learning Pty Ltd (Prime Learning – Provider No 31466) who will deliver this HR course and provide your qualification upon completion.  The most popular method of delivery is via distance and/or Online Learning in the form of self-paced learning.

You will have 12 months to complete the course from your enrolment date through distance learning. Prime Learning have a continual intake of students on this basis.
