This Cert III
Childcare
course will provide
you
first-class
training and
student
support
while you
undertake
your

Services

Course Units
The Cert III
in
Children’s
Services
(Childcare)
is comprised
of 11 core
units, and 4
electives.
It is
Australia’s
nationally
recognised
and
accredited
qualification
in child
care, and is
designed for
those
interested
in becoming
a nanny,
assistant in
a child care
centre,
playgroup
supervisor,
family day
care worker,
or mobile
child care
assistant.
During
the course
of your
childcare
training, you
will gain up
to 240 hours
workplace-based
experience
to solidify
your
practical
experience
and skills
in working
with
children.
This course
has been
specifically
designed to
develop the
knowledge
and skills
required to
work safely
and
effectively
with young
children,
providing an
opportunity
for those
with a

our youth to

leading role
in the

Entry
Requirements
There are no
formal
prerequisites
for this
qualification,
however
sound
understanding
of the
English
language is
preferred.
Recognition
of Prior
Learning
(RPL)
RPL is
offered to
any Learner
who can
provide
evidence of
competency
for the
units
offered
within this
Cert III
Childcare
course. During
the
enrolment
process a
potential
Learner may
complete a
checklist
and discuss
any prior
evidence
before
commencing
training to
determine if
they are
eligible for
RPL.
Training
Schedule
